Just as the clocks go back and things start looking a little darker and colder around London, we are thrown back into light by thousands of tiny coloured stars in the sky.
Meteor shower? No, this is the week that many of London’s main shopping areas turn on their Christmas lights. Starting tonight in Oxford street, where the girl band “The Saturdays”, will be switching on the lights while performing their latest release.
Quickly on the heals of Oxford Street is St. Christopher’s Place, a hidden gem of an area just off Oxford Street and well worth a visit.
Then there is only Justin Beiber at Westfield Stratford on the 7th! On the 8th Regents Street will be swamped by zombies. No they are not just late for Holloween, but the cast of Thriller turning on the lights.
Here are the rest:
Covent Garden – 9th November
Carnaby Street – 10th November
Marylebone – 16th November
Greenwich Market – 30th November
Seven Dials – 1st December.
And the all important Trafalger Square on the 1st of December.
