Hats off to the best new Musical

Last night saw the prestigious Olivier Awards, where the great and good of British Theatre come together to honour the best in the business.

Best New Musical Olivier Award went to Top Hat, which is based on the 1935 film of the same name and nominated for a total of seven awards at this year’s ceremony. The Sunday Telegraph’s Tim Walker said it was “The most sublimely performed, choreographed, orchestrated and costumed musical I have seen in the past 25 years.” See more on Top Hat Here

While MasterCard Best New Play award went to The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time, a  tale about a 15-year-old boy who embarks on a mission to discover who murdered his neighbour’s dog. See more on The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time here
