Due to overwhelming public demand and huge critical acclaim, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s record-breaking musical CATS is extending its run at the London Palladium. Over 100,000 tickets have been released for the legendary production, which stars Kerry Ellis in the role of Grizabella from the 9th February. Inspired by T. S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, the original creative team – Director Trevor Nunn, Associate Director and Choreographer Gillian Lynne, Designer John Napier and Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber – are reunited to bring CATS back home to the West End. With an amazing musical score that includes the timeless “Memory”, spectacular set designs, stunning costumes and breathtaking choreography, CATS is a magical musical like no other… Cats is set on the night that the Jellicle Cats meet for the Jellicle Ball and folds fantasy, drama and romance into the telling of its tale. The cats have gathered from far and wide so that their father figure Old Deuteronomy can choose the one most deserving of making the journey up to the ‘Heaviside Lair’.
