The official London 2012 Torch Relay starts 19th May 2012 and starts at Land’s End and ventures as high as the Shetland Islands visiting over 1000 UK Villages, Towns and Cities and carried by 8000 people!
However the torch doesn’t reach London until the 64th Day, 29th July, which is when it leaves Guilford in Kent and heads into the Capital for 7 days of relay and evening celebrations.
