For the overall majority of us that didn’t get those tickets to the opening ceremony on Friday fear not as there are special events planned to make us all feel part of it.
BT have sponsored showings in London’s Hyde Park, Victoria Park as well as Trafalger Square, which you will have to pay for.
While Lewisham council are having their own event on Blackheath Common.
